Apple is stepping up to make it simple for you to donate to the Red Cross for the Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund. You can donate right through iTunes using your account and everything.
Personally I donated through texting “Haiti” to 90999. which is also a good way to help out. They need all of our help, so please donate whatever you can through any medium.
This was filmed 2 days ago. I really dig my new camera. The possibilities just blow my mind. I can’t wait to use it on everything and anything (boats, planes, surfing and so much more).
This was just something fun for me to do.
Enjoy.
I love putting together these special projects and gifts for clients. For this Christmas there are a few people that took me up on my offers and I believe that we delivered some great things. Let me start off with prefacing this project. If you know that you were sailing at almost every regatta that I covered this past summer, than you should know that I have a ton of good looking images (especially if you are from MRYC but thats besides the point). So for this first project I was approached to put together and design a beautiful book that would compile the summer into a lasting all-inclusive hardcover album. I believe that it really came out great. But check it out for yourself… even though everything always looks better in print.

Next, is an absolutely beautiful Custom Canvas Art Print with a 1.5″ gallery wrap. It is absolutely stunning when you see it in person. Canvas prints will be fully available for all images very soon.
This is something that is very special to hang on your wall for many years, and that fact that it is a Christmas gift, makes it ever so sweet.

Quality is something that I do not take lightly. In 2010 I can assure you that all of our products will be the absolute best they can be. A lot of time and effort is going to be going into all of the details even up to the actually packaging and presentation. I have a huge attention to detail, and next year all of my prints and custom products will reflect that attention as they have here. I think you will all appreciate some of the things I have up my sleeves for 2010. I’m very excited for the next summer season!
I would like to thank all of you for making my first inaugural season amazing and unforgettable. I am thankful to be working with some incredible and inspiring people.
Here’s to a great 2010! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and I hope everyone has a successful and promising year.
Yours truly,
Justin
What can I say about the Mullers? I love this family! They are fun, outgoing, energetic, and they sail! We all had a fun time together taking some images and playing on the beach in Normandy at the end of the summer.
Although I don’t do portraits too often, and I don’t advertise it too much, I believe that I have a certain new, and easy-going, edge when I take them. My idea is to go out on to the beach and just have a good time enjoying one another. I try to create a great relaxed environment, where we can talk and have some fun….. and the pictures are better as a result of it.

I would have blogged about this earlier, but I wanted to show off the great Christmas Cards that I designed!

The final holiday orders are being printed and shipped out the door. There’s still time to order and have it in time for Christmas. All you have to do is pick the 2 Day Shipping option AND order by December 18.
Have a great holiday everyone!

Hey so yesterday I had a nice trip to the city…. Brooklyn Bridge, Empire State Bulding, and Times Square. Ton of fun taking pictures…… Check them out.

Oh that Justin Chando guy, he only takes those pictures of boats….. Seemingly…. seemingly. Actually I probably have the most fun shooting mostly all kinds of sports. This picture is from this past weekend that I thought you I should share with you. Sequences are my favorite thing to do with skating or surfing. Watch me do it with a sailboat. But, anyway just because I’m not doing events right now doesn’t mean that I stop shooting, it’s what I love to do. So, scroll down a bit and check out some more new images from the past month or so.
-Just a heads-up, the start of 2010 you will see some big changes in the Justin Chando brand… It’s going to be a lot of fun to broaden the spectrum (but more on that very soon). Thanks for the support!

Little sufing? This was back when Hurricane Bill was coming up the east coast, some of my friends tore it up.

New images are fun to share! So take a look at some new personal work over the past couple weeks, because it’s fun to look at new images. I’m printing the first image of the sunset as a huge beautiful canvas art gallery wrapped print for the wall in my room at home. It’s going to look so sweet. I don’t usually print and hang images for myself, but this one is special to me.
I can print any of my images on canvas, just so you know…. but more on that later.
Enjoy!
What a beautiful night, I hope I did it justice.
So let’s say there are a nice handful of images of your son or daughter from sailing events that I’ve covered over this past summer… wouldn’t it be nice to take those images and make them into a nice unforgettable card? No one ever gets to see see us in our element – sailing. What I’m going to do is design a beautiful fine art folded card, or front sided photo greeting card using a few of the 15,000 images in my “event gallery” of your choice, and design a highly custom christmas card for you to use this holiday season! The design I have in the above image is just a sample, but we can design a whole new card from scratch.
We have a bunch of different options, sizes and prices for you, and all you have to do is send me a quick e-mail, and I’ll send you all the information you need.
Now is the perfect time to get your Christmas cards done and out of the way so you can enjoy the many other great things of the holiday season. I know with my family, we always put it off to the last second (sometimes they turn into New Years Cards) but that doesn’t have to be the case this year for all of you!!
So send me an e-mail/ text/ phone call/ snail-mail/ telegram …I’m way too reachable.
We’ll put together a package that works for you.
